On a mission to like jazz

Duke Jordan seemed to fly a lot: from 'Flight to Jordan' to 'Flight to Denmark' where he settled for good. Bot albums are fine jazz!

A lot of jazz artist play in Denmark, and end up staying there or going back, a lot.
I wonder why?
I wonder if its the audiences, or the way that personal freedom is processed there, within the culture itself, that attracts jazz musicians.

Not sure whether it‘s jazz, but the album is at least listed under ‚Brazilian Jazz‘. Nevertheless, it‘s beautiful listening.

I found this very interesting, but it's probably much more interesting to a musician.

The most feared song in jazz, explained

It’s mind boggling, how much thought and logic are put behind music that pleases our ears. Here is an album which I actually own. In the first few minutes, he does some sort of juggling with the fifths and other notes. Someone familiar with musical notes may be able to say better.
