was beginning to feel I was the only one in OK.
I know, I feel the same way. To be fair, not much is out here in terms of hifi

Well I was originally from MA. Came here due to Military. Came back since cost of living better then back home.
It is, yes.
I'm glad to see we have a few people in Oklahoma.
Does anyone here know if any events are held here for hifi ever?

None that I know of. I have meet a gentleman that has high end audio sales out in Moore with clients all over the US. But he really doesn’t deal in head-fi
Ah, shame. It would be nice to have something out here.

Are there ever any meetups here? I need to hunt down somewhere to try LCD-5s before buying & don't want to go to Dallas. Found an Audeze dealer in OKC who says he has one but it's new in box in residential house.

Really want to try in person before buying - but don't want to open a new one to feel pressure.

It wasn't head-fi - supposedly Audeze. Said I could return it. He was called Reference Analog but google maps showed a residential location. He said he had new LCD-5s in the case & I could buy them / return with warranty.

Really want a place that has them open for me to try. Feel so crappy about the idea of returning a $4K-5K item if I don't like it.
