but I need damn cables to hook this thing up to my receiver!!! arg... why wasn't I warned about this?

Does the quality of the cables matter or any audio cable from any store will suffice? Anything else I should know prior to installing my card?

BTW, running thru the Audigy1 instead of the EMU 0404 and the DT880 sounds so cool!

You could get some 1/4>RCA adaptors for a temporary solution... Nothing beats a good custom break-out though,IMO

Just do a quick search for 0404 breakout cable.
