Didn't anyone watch the matrix? It's an insight into the future. There's only one thing we can do to prevent this oncoming devastation. Get rid of all the intelligent people. Except for the females. Smart girls are kinky.

Honda's ASIMO learnt the kiwi accent and how to do parts of a haka (watch an All Blacks match? Yeah, that thing at the beginning).

However, QRIO can rollerskate, imitate sumo, talk in japanese, recognise up to ten faces and I've heard if programmed by Al Qaeda (or just an angsty teenage nerd), could possibly steal a car, drive it to a supermarket and detonate it as a car bomb (that's why they don't sell them). It also pitched the first ball of some baseball game. And if you could buy a QRIO, it would cost as much as a BMW.

Oh yeah, it can probably tell the difference between a 320K mp3 and a CD as well.

I can see them now "A toy! We must destroy it!"

And then 30 seconds later as they sniff the damage.. "Hey, that thing is in peices. Someone should clean that up."

The mood Pixel is in right now, she's more likely to take it as her puppy.

I'm a sucker for stuff like this. Anybody remember Teddy Ruxpin? Anyway, I always justify a purchase such as this by saying "it's for the kids." Yeah, right.
That said, I'll probably resist the urge to put this under the tree for the kids this year.
