Man from India signs up, posts that he wants an amp for around $25. Usually someone from the USA or Europe signs up, posts that they want an amp or sound card for around $250.

As an Indian (and a long time lurker), I can see the irony. Pay in India for normal workers comes to 500-800 USD per month (which for Indian standards is enough for a very comfortable living as long as you are a bachelor). Then we come to this site, hoping to get some good audio stuff and the "sorry about your wallet" gets converted to "sorry for draining your bank account and half an year of savings"...

A person from India with a $25 amp might get a lot more enjoyment than a man from US or EU with a $2500 amp!

I beg to differ. I am a student and don't earn a single penny, but am already eyeing those tasty tube amps and that lovely d7000 with markl mods. Good reason to earn money.
