I'm looking at a major (for me) source upgrade:

Was:

Sony D25S pcdp
Etymotic ER4P

Now (potentially):

Sony DVP-NS500V (sacd/cd/dvd player)
some interconnect
META42 (pretty much all out, built by eric343)
Etymotic ER4S (4P-4S adapter cable of course)

I know very little about interconnects, but I know that I need them because the DVP-NS500V doesn't have a headphone jack.

Does a budget of ~$50 for interconnects sound about right for my potential upgrade, and what do you guys recommend?

I went to www.outlawaudio.com, and I'm thinking of going with their $50 1.2m pure copper analog ones. Would that probably be a good choice?

(note: I haven't ordered anything yet, still trying to figure out if I can afford this upgrade. Right now this is research.

radrd- If I were you, I'd go with both the sony and the outlaw combo, I have them both and they are a good match, although I use the headroom litte as my amp but I would still recommend them both.
