Hello all, my first post here.
I'm a tube noob and got bit by the bug when I bought a littledot MKII.
I will soon be expanding into much bigger and better things soon. (building my own amp and preamp)
But my question is this:
When the littledot MKii is used as a preamp, are the power tubes involved in the output, or are they bypassed?
I ask this because I have rolled a few sets in the preamp stage, and read a few suggestions for rolls in the power tubes. But, if I'm only using this as a preamp, and the power tubes aren't involved, then it wouldn't make any sense to upgrade them huh?
