You guys got me so excited (about electrostatic headphones.) I am try-in to buy a set of HE 60s and I don't even have a electrostatic amp

The HE-60's are going for the same price as a pair of new O2 MkII's. Not sure which way I'd go with that if I had to make a decision now. Especially since you'd have to find a 60 with a quality stax adapter. A lot of them out there are kinda cheesy. I got really lucky.

I missed out on the last week of this thread. I saw some really nice things being said, great conversation, good info, etc. but what stood out to me the most was that I've got a barbeque coming my way
