I too will be alone. This is only my 2nd meet. I enjoyed the first one immensely.

John has reached out to me so I will be having his demo pair of GS2000e headphones on display for all to listen to.  These are the same pair I previously had on loan from John and for the review I wrote recently.  Check the link below if you haven't already read it, hope you enjoy.

Unfortunately John Grado not being able to make the meet was a decision out of his control and I know he really wanted to be there.  At his request I will be bringing his demo GS2000e to display and play at my table.

  This is my first time to a meet. I'm not sure what I should be bringing to the meet.
I would be using public transport to get to the venue, so I can't afford to carry any of my heavy gear.
 
I'm bringing my AK320 and JH16s for sure.
In addition I can bring one or more of the following:
 
  1. Onkyo DP-X1
  2. HD800S
  3. Cavalli Audio Liquid Carbon
  4. Laptop with Roon installed (would the venue have Wi-Fi ?)
 
Let me know if you are interested in listening to any of the above.

Please bring the Cavalli, dying to hear it and have been thinking of getting one if given the opportunity.  At least it is small and light.  We can try it with the Grado GS2000e I will have at my table.  I was going to post a request for someone to bring one and then saw your post.  Let me know if that is okay with you otherwise I will reach out to see if anyone is planning to bring one.

My stepson,12, will be attending with me.He was so excited when I told him Grado would be there...he rocks his 80e and was looking forward to meeting the man who created his headphones.
