It’s not that hard. They’re held on by little plastic clips. Just pull them off gently. And then to reattach them, just line them up and then start applying pressure in a circular motion until they snap back into place.

Yep, it's a straightforward procedure. Just a mild pressure applied to a pad should unclip it and that's done!

Guys, i have seen on Amazon (De, FR and It specifically) prices of He1000 V1 and V2 715€ used - like new. There was severals sellers (And still are) at different moments.
So before into jumping into that, i was informed by them how it worked. They don't want to let you pay by amazon itself but by them, via email and at their own, giving your personal details (Email, number etc.)
I was very interested because i heard He1000V2 and was my favourite i ever heard (More than SE personally), sold after a month or less unfortunately, i wanted it again
It is just a scam, of course, also according to Amazon. With purchasing on Amazon you are covered by scams etc., without, they will simply try to steal you the money, that is why on their seller description they advertize you need contact them before purchase (Amazon says no one should do that) and if you don't contact them they'll cancel the Order (Who knows why )
So, defenately stay away, not possible to have He1000 of any sort at just 715€, on France was 488€! It's just a scam by some stealers.

Yeah that definitely sounds dodgy. To be honest I find the HEK is rarely on the second hand market. A few weeks ago I was considering selling mine so I did a bot of research as I did not know how much to ask for them . As i say they are hard to find. There was one on ebay which went for £1575 from what I remember but other than that I could not find any

Is this the official Hifiman replacement earpad? Mine need replacing on my HEKv1. I think the ones below are the ones used on HEKv2, but will this be ok? Mine are looking a tad shabby.

Been using it with my hd800s and 2018 lcd2 but thinking of selling my lcd2 and picking up an used he1000 v2

thanks, I also see the Liquid Platinum is on sale for $550. Do you think it can sound great with the HeK and can be a little upgrade to 789 or 887 ?
