Can you help me w/ the analog synths? I'm just starting and learning. Also, is there any good site like ours here about home studio?

http://www.phys.tue.nl/people/etimme...ordingFAQ.html might be a good place to start (sorry for the popunder).

i have an old korg dw-8000 analog/digital hybrid synth. it is great for radiohead, boards of cnanda, and eno style electronic sounds; it can sound like an old fm synth, a moog, or a sampling synth (digital), and has analog slider controls for real time parameter changes.

if you are hard-core about trying analog and have cash, you can search for the mellotron or an mini-moog. these are high maintenance synths and are highly sought after.
