I Recently bought this DAC : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Finished...m=122152884113&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851
It came with a JRC 5532D OP amp installed in the socket.
My problem is this. When the OP amp is installed, the volume level from the DAC is severely reduced. The audio also sounds like it is severely recessed & far away.
Remove the OP amp & Boom, Full line level audio (not as loud as my lindy) that is extremely clear & detailed. Great lows, Great mids & no harshness to highs. No sibilance either, just great audio.
My question is, What is going on. The pre-installed OP amp is a disaster or so it would seem. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong. Some one, please advise me if you can.
