D'you mean surprisingly high or surprisingly low?

I heard the ERIB-2A at the Headroom show & they're stunningly good for the money.

That eamt-3w is approx $2960 which is about $100 shy from the Shure KSE-1500, and $180 more than the Laylas. Next time I'm in e-earphone I'll give it a listen. These things are behind glass cabinets so I'll have to ask the shop for access.

The review tour is running. You'll see a few of them popping out in a couple of weeks.

Only comparison I can make is that the Shure sounds like a linear soundstage and the oBravo sounds like a pair of headphones. The KSE are a great pair of Shure earphones but I'm not convinced after spending time with them using an iPhone.

I'm on the review tour, hopefully receiving tomorrow, and will be reviewing against Layla and Sony NC750...

Will hopefully be fun!

I've been using on QP1r, ak and pioneer DAPs and MoJo and they are certainly lively enough for me. I own PMC active rig at home so I kinda know lively lol

I also find it exceptionally hard to compare the oBravo to other earphones as they do sound so completely different.
