I've bought these and I'm highly impressed. They have a planar magnetic driver and a dynamic driver. They have as you'd imagine low,low bass but with no sacrifice to mids or highs. They sound incredible with my n8 with the tubes on.
Best thing is they are not expensive. I got them from audio concierge for £249. Seriously, these are a bargain.
Take a look:

The Cupids are the real deal. I'm not sure about posting others reviews but @twister6 did a bang up review on these that should be read and taken quite seriously. There will be none of that "what was I thinking getting these" after reading a positive review. Every genre sounds great. You can save a lot of money not experimenting with Chifi and selling them and losing money when the next model of the week comes out. Listening out of A Sony ZX300 balanced currently, always on shuffle. Not a big Prince fan but listening to "The Beautiful ones" and the cymbal hits are extremely accurate. I'll leave it at that, don't want to get into kitechaser territory!

I am using Spiral dots And as I said earlier I prefer the tip just past the lip of the stem. All the way on also works well an opens it up but the fit for me is better with a little more on the stem.

Ordered from @PhilW from Audio Concierge after reading @twister6 's review. Am happy with the purchase since day 1 and they are really a bargain at £249.

From day 1, I have been neglecting my LCD2C.Yesterday I tried comparing my LCD2C with Massdrop SDAC+LCX and Cupid via 4.4mm adapter to WM1A . Tried with the same song volume matched from a few genres. It pains me to say LCD2C sounds dull, not as emotional and as detailed as the Cupids. Kept wondering how this pair of small IEM can sound fuller, more energetic and detailed than a full sized headphone that costs more.

OBRAVO CUPIDS

Before spending 250GBP or more ...try obravo cupid... single dynamic driver for lows and single planar for mids and highs
I am using one since 3 weeks .... thoroughly impressed..

Impressions:
It has a very natural tonality....balanced sound signature

BASS
The bass is very deep, extended, rumbles, mid bass punch is excellent ... EDM sound fantastic.... electric guitars, double bass have superb extension & natural decay ...

MIDS
Both upper & lower mids are full bodied with excellent natural timbre.. there is no sibilance in female vocals ... quite forgiving ... imaging & transparency is unimaginable in this price segment

TREBLE
There is no sibilance .. lower treble peak is controlled... sparkle and transients are excellent ...airiness is quite good ...

PAIR UP
They sound very good on iPad, phones, DAPs etc
The Frequency response (FR) is unchanged irrespective of source.
There is no hiss even on my oriolus BA300S tube amp.

Cupids scale very well with good amplification..my HUM class A amp pairs wonderfully
