Who builds the best quality fit and finish Objective/Odac? It seems that there are quite fw makers and I am assuming soundwise they are the same...

I would go with JDS Labs, one of the original manufacturers. My standalone ODAC is still going strong after 3-4 years.

I love my JDS labs O2/ODAC, but only thing I didn't like was the volume knob.
