Thats a load of absolute garbage, those rank amateurs, no-one has yet built a proper surround headphone except for me and I tried this earbuds in the headphones thing and it resulted in 5.1 for the ears in the same way that hammering a nail into a 4 by 2 results in a cruise missle.

I saw this the other day and kind of laughed. But yeah, this shouldn't give you anything close to 5.1. Especially since it is just 3 inputs that just output left and right, there is nothing really spatial about this. Just something that won't really work.

The Zalmans are awful in absolutely every respect, they fail at general headphone fit finish comfort sound and looks, nevermind failing at 5.1 I've owned them and know well.

What? that's heresy! Zalman's ability to make heatsinks and power supplies should totally guarantee that they can make good headphones!

Ha ha. My brother always tells me about his "5.1 Surround headphones" are so good (They are made my Razr--or whoever makes that fancy gaming mouse) so good, in fact, that he swears they are infinitely better than my set of K701's.
I should make this, and give it to him for christmas.

Razer makes good mice, but I doubt their headset would be too good. Has he heard the K701? If so was it properly driven and what was he listening to? I doubt Razer's offering could really surpass it.

No he hasn't heard it, and he refuses too. Kind of frustrating but then i think "Hey, that's why he can afford all these things"
