Black finish and glowing tubes - ho, hum.

If that makes you salivate, you really owe it to yourself to look at Jadis gear in all its golden glory, or if you like uber-retro, check out what Moth Audio gear looks like. Both are VERY expensive, but they actually look the part, unlike this Fatman stuff.

And nobody's pointed out yet that it's called the frikkin "iTube". Really, just pathetic.

Oh these are the same people that put out that stupid tube amp with a seperate iPod dock. This one doesn't even have a dock and they still call it the iTube, yay.

We all bash it, but I think they deserve some credit. 200W per channel isn't common place in the tube world. Then again, lots of power doesn't mean good sounding. The fake tube glow is also very unnecessary. All in all, I find it very difficult to believe that any self-claimed audiophile with a budget of $10k for a pre-power combo would buy from a manufacturer which doesn't even take their clients seriously. The same cash will buy you some very nice Jadis tube amplification.
