Headphones: 4-Pin Balanced HD-800s and HF-2s
Amp: Toole Audio Balanced M^3

Just found out that the date of this meet is the one weekend I will be on call (work) in the next 2 months.
I will try to get someone to switch weekends with me (a lot of people owe me big time!).

Boy, the sympathy was just oozing out of you guys. Don't you love me anymore?

Anyway, I'm sure that you'll be excited to know that I was able to get someone to switch weekends with me.

There is a decent chance I can actually make this meet. Haven't been to a NY meet since the '06 National Meet, so I'm a bit overdue. I'll have to check to see if it's possible to get routed through NY because I'll be traveling to Europe the week before and will still be on the company's nickel on the way back (and don't want to push my luck!). So it's probably a 50:50 chance at this point.

If nobody gave you any sympathy it was only because everyone knew there was no way you were missing the meet. It was already a foregone conclusion.

Looks like I'll be bringing an amp!

Tentative Gear List:

Phones: HD 800, HF-2
Amp: Nugget Audio β22
Source(s): Dodson DA-217 MK II D and maybe Bryston BDA-1
If I bring 2 sources, I'll also bring the skipjack

Thank you for organizing. I look forward to attending. This will be my first meet and I look forward to seeing gear from all of the participants. Do vendors typically bring their product line for purchase at the meet?

They may have some gear for sale but this is a Head-Fi meet first and foremost. The vendors understand that this is really a non-commercial gathering.

If you do want to purchase something from a vendor you can always contact them ahead of time and see if any arrangements can be made.
