Head-Fiers,
I bought a french Sony Walkman NWZ-A826. Now the french firmware limits the volume and when I go into Test Mode, the setting that unlimits the volume is locked so I'm desperate.
Is it possible to reflash the player with a US or an Asian firmware?

I find my S' series to be low in vol compared to my other mp3's already, do the S has the same thing ? i gotta check it out maybe i am running the same as yours ...
I m new to the Sony's ....

I read that Sony did it with many of its Walkmans in France because of the law about hearing protection...
