Hi, my name is Jon and I'm new to this forums.

I need help choosing my first DAP. My price range is between 150-300€. I've been looking reviews and the forums and here are my top picks:

  1. Sony NW-A25 . I've read that in some countries a new DAP is launching, named NW-A30. I don't know if it's going to get released in Europe soon and if I should wait.
  2. Cowon Plenue D. I like the aesthetics and the reviews I've seen say this is a good DAP.
  3. Fiio X3 II. This is the cheapest one but it could be a really good entry point to the DAP world.

I'm planning on using the DAP daily on my way to work (40 min Underground, Metro, trip) and everytime I go somewhere. My musical taste is mostly Metal and Japanese Rock/Metal/Anime songs and videogames music. I'm not planning on buying a pair of headphones (I don't see me wearing those bulky things because I'm very shameful (I think it's said that way, basically I try to go unnoticed)) but I could buy a good in-ear headphones.

Please help me choosing one.

Many Thanks.
