Technical execution issues. Layout has to change to pack many things.
Icon HDP has gone through several improvement since early this year.
The Icon family benefited from our high-end development.
Icon HDP and uDAC share circuits that are used in our high-end CD player and DAC.

Last I heard from NuForce the HDP has been delayed yet again until the end of December.

If the reviews the new UDAC is getting then the HDP will be worth waiting for.

The Icon uDAC uses the latest ESS9022 Sabre DAC and we have been evaluating many DACs. Obviously the best DAC doesn't equal to the best sound but it is one of the critical components.

Icon HDP is our secret weapon so we will not talk about the design. It is worth the wait.

no pics yet? Is the amp in this better than anything you have ever made? Or is there an amp you currently have out which is comparable to the hdp's headphone amp section?

I really like these new products you are releasing. Its bad for my wallet but then again if you have something close to state of the art for only $400 bucks, thats a whole nuther story.

I am new here, have spent over a month checking out the different threads. The HDP is on my shortlist for a DAC/AMP, but the available info is rather scarce. Will it have the same headphone amp as the uDAC? I suppose the USB chip will be different, since the HDP will do 24bit/192kHz.
