Look here, too: http://www.dapreview.net/e107_plugin...ewforum.php?83

A poster named Digitaldel actually works on the Insignia NS-DV4G and has been very responsive to questions and feature requests. So much so that DAPReview setup an Insignia subforum. There's even a 25 page Feature Request thread.

So, if having a highly responsive and accessible vendor is important to you, the Insignia player is worth a look. Sure, everything else with the Insignia name tag on it should probably be avoided like the plague, but Best Buy seem to have the right kind of people working on their DAPs.

I believe their bookshelf speakers received positive response for their good value a while ago.

As Ruben said, there's Digitaldel working on the firmware with feedback from the DAPreview members. So the firmware is bound to improve. But I've noticed lately it seems to be slowing down a bit...

The build quality of the whole unit is pretty solid, but it feels a bit too light for my taste. Too cheap feeling, for me. The sound quality is average.
