Now what do I buy?

I just got my hd280s and my px100s, so far I am very happy with both. These are my only nicer headphones, so what should I buy next??? I think I will get the koss ksc 75s just for fun. What is a good headphone for sub 200 dollars that would have a diffferent sound, appeal, functionality that I should look into?

May be you can add Grado SR-225 or Audio Technica ATH-A900 to your list. To my ears, these phones are more exciting than HD280.

How about portable extreme isolation with a canalphone?

A pair of Grado is very appropriate to complete your view of the two diehard camps, imo any other brands lie in between. I'd suggest go with sr60/80 or MS-1 first to see if you like their sound, before moving to 225. They share similar signature but different refinements.

Try something in the Grado line. If you like the sound, grab a pair of 225s.
