And there's 7 pages? Jesus, I stopped reading after the 2nd, I don't see why they would need to go on with it, if the person is too dumb to accept that he's wrong.
I read the first page. But the guy may have a point. ATi never MADE any 9800 non-pro. They made the cores for the card, but they only build pro-models. So you won't find a BUILT BY ATI 9800 np, you'll only find POWERED BY ATI 9800np. It's a technicality that the guy may be trying to pursue.
At a quick glance, the guy is right, and the others have a hard time interpreting what he means. It's true that ATI has never made a 9800 np video card. They do however make the cores used in them. I have an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro.

Yeah, sounds like he's just trying to be a know-it-all and impress us with the fact that he knows who made what, knowing full well the rest of the universe will call it an ATI card just to make it easier. So for this guy, no company that sells laptops under its name actually has any laptops, there was never an Apple iPod (1st gen at least, I know Apple got the design from elsewhere), etc... and he can't get the clue to **** and just call it what everyone else in the known universe will rever to it as. He's one of those types that sits in the corner by himself, with no friends, but happy in the knowledge that he is "smarter than everyone else." In other words, a geek elitist.
