If this is real...then WOW, very cool. Not sure how it would sound but it is an incredible invention and if it has outputs to go to a DAC, all the better! Perfect for an office, or a classroom. If that ad is serious and not a precursor to tomorrow's April 1st gags...then a laser pick up for 800 bones!!! INSANITY given that ELP is 8-22k depending on where one shops.

Edit: after reading the specs, and noting the 2000 gigs of storage I laughed and click "buy" since the drives alone are worth far more than the unit...and well, let's just say that buy it now was funny

I initially hoped it was real. That is how the lp would need to be inserted for laser pickup. I believe the ELPs are like that.
