NOUGAT: Drunken insults and meaningless rambling... Do you peek at locked threads?

rule of thumb i've noticed:

if a thread is controversial, once i say something, or add to the conversation, it becomes locked very fast.

I guess i'm naughty : /

Sometimes I just don't get it. I wonder how something that's everyday normal can suddenly turn into a taboo subject at head-fi. Is it that we have so many conservative ostrich types that hang out here? Seriously, 13 years old is the right age to start thinking about grinding and dry humping. It's completely a normal thing. Think back to when you were that age, and the things you were thinking, and doing...or thinking you wanted to do.

But to talk about it and get frank advice? Nooooo, that's bad. We mustn't do that. Sex is a dirty thing. It's wrong. You'll go blind. Are we back in the 50's??

But yeah, sometimes at head-fi it's a bit of a time warp.

I wish we could let our hair down and have fun, but mostly, the most fun threads are locked.... so back to the topic, yeah, I try to read the locked threads. At other sites, there are often Halls of Shame, where locked threads, and flame wars end up, so you can always go browse there to see the train wrecks.

Yeah I occasionally peek at the locked threads. I do wonder why some of them have been locked, especially in the Members' Lounge. Seems to me this is the place for off-topic stuff.
