after reading the "grinding" thread (which is now sadly locked), i wonder how many of us read locked threads because they're locked? kind of like rubbernecking an accident on the info highway... have any best/worst locked threads?

I know of a few threads, since I tend to search at random. Try words such as "attack" or "flame" and check the results. But the specific threads that I'd like to mention would be much better off if left unmentioned.

I read the first page of that grinding thread, and was so torn whether to laugh or cry. I still haven't made up my mind on that one.

Also, I approve of using nougat in the title once more.

I think it was more along the lines of "it doesn't fit in with the forum atmosphere". Anyway, it was kinda doomed to begin with, with it being the most inane topic in a while.

I always check locked threads because they're bound to be entertaining, and it's always fun to watch people fling poo at each other when they get carried away. Mocking people in those threads is also fun, but I can't do that nearly as much as I'd like since I'd get banned.

You'd probably get a reply like: "Whatever you do DON'T duct-tape it!!"

Usually not, but sometimes. For example, it never occurred to me to look at the "grind" thread, but then when I saw it locked, I figured something amusing must have happened!
But, as was pointed out, all the amusing stuff is usually 86'd pretty quickly.

BTW, what's with the "nougat?" Last I heard, this was the delightful filling of the 3 Musketeers candy bar.
