Finally got my universal player, so now looking at speakers and receivers (again). Since I'll be going with speakers for this use (don't believe in special shelves for headphone-only use), I'm considering getting a decent shelf.


The catch is that they need to be fairly readily available in the UK. Does anyone have suggestions for a three-shelf (extendible to 4 shelf perhaps) unit? There'll be two sources and one receiver on it to start with.


I see the Atacama Equinox on Superfi.co.uk. I find them really good to deal with. How is that shelf?

I can't comment on the Atacama equipment shelves but I can comment on their speaker stands... absolutely superb. The company is great to deal with also, they had a new pair of stands sent to me within 2 days when I complained there was a chip out of the paintwork

Target racks are pretty good, especially their welded racks.
