I've emailed the Sony HQ in my country and they said they couldn't import it due to it not being launched in the market and not wanting to go againts legislation (

What a pity. I dunno if I should wait but what if it never ever gets released?

This reminds me of Grados where they do not want to sell their products in certain countries???

Nope, I'm not resorting to ordering for overseas....at least not yet. I need to at least send my cans somewhere to repair just in case. I'm no good at DIY yet so I'm kinda wary. Anyway I don't like the hassle of importing things.

I might have to settle for HD 650 but damn, I want the SA5000 too

Well why not contacting Audiocubes to see if they will honor the warranty or at least help in repairing them under the warranty

It would be expensive to send them back for repair I think. Better to have a localised service centre.
