Well, I guess $610 for something like that (MIB) isn't unreasonable at all.

Communism the final stage of the socialist transition after the revolutionary overthrow of capitalism. The proletariat overthrows the bourgeoisie and forms the utopian society.

If anything, posting ebay links and sharing information would be supporting communism. Not posting ebay links for self gain would be supporting Capitalism or secretive governments(USA, China, Europe, you name the country)

I don't see why you people are blaming those that post the links. Instead, you should be blaming the headphone companies that stop production of successful headphones and/or make them limited edition. That is really what jacks up the price.

It is curious how when I have posted threads like this one, about the same headphone, it has been closed after my post, immediately after my post, not a single reply was allowed....This one now is on the second page and running!!!! Where are the mods today????...

Well the reason one item is discontinued is just becasue is was not so succesful comercially talking, I think that Sony have sold more V600 than CD3000, mainly becasue of the price, second becasue they are oriented to a different market...They are more ingnorant people on hte street, than people that really knows how the sound is supposed to be heard...

The seller places a bid for his own item in an attempt to push the price up.

They weren't worth the old street price of $350-390 new, imo. I don't know what makes people think their worth nearly double that now that they're discontinued *shrug*.

if the seller bid on his stuff than i guess i wonder how much he really wanted for them. I really wanted these cans and put a bid max bid of $500 for them. That was the most i was willing to pay even tho i felt they could be 'end game' cans paired with a singlepower amp. Just ask voltron and his setup. Unfortunately, everything has its price and for me it was 500. Im still looking for a pair for 500 new or like new. Maybe one day ill get it and a pair of hf-1 for 250(these are not high end cans and the rarity is not worth more than 50 bucks to me)

to OP thanks for the post. Looking for a pair for a long time now but got discouraged/lazy. Send more my way on the cd3000 pls

yes of course, i wouldn't expect a used pair to go for anywhere near that price.

i wonder if it was a head-fier that purchased that pair.
