Gutted.

While performing my first ever filter change (which did make them sound better - more midrange detail and warmth!) i obviously "over tapped" into one of my Er4 transducers.

the end split off, in the place i have seen before - half of the end slightly larger cylinder where the filter fits.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO - less

i have temporarily put a 3 flange earpiece back on awaiting a solution. But i feel like crying! The Etys have become firm friends over the last 2 years!

Well, good timing. Almost Christmas, and you should definitely add an IEM upgrade to your Christmas list.

Yeah, Canal phone is also called IEM (in ear monitor)

Well, if Etymotics can not replace your ER4, then you definitely should look into an IEM upgrade.
