Hey guys never realize I was always overpaying for mediocre head phones when I can pay less and get better quality. So I need a new over the ear, I listen to everything but mostly EDM to Rap, what's a good headphone that can encompasses this two categories

You can't go wrong with Stax sr-009. They are cca 5.000 €, or did you have a budget in mind?
 
Also, do you prefer open or closed headphones? Bass heavy or more neutral? More or less portable? etc.
And what would be your source?
 
It's not that easy to buy good headphones
