Hey guys
My friend asked me the other day about my headphones (beats solo's, the regular ones) which i got free with my phone (HTC sensation XL) So i told him that i might be up to sell them for $150 and he said yes.

I guess my question is, are there better or equal headphones to beats solo's for $150 or wether i should keep them (id like a change).
I have been thinking for a while that i would like some IEM's (if thats the right term in ear headphones) so i could carry them around with ease but im open to almost anything else that would be reasonable to carry around in a bag.

As silly as it sounds im kind of competing with my friend to see if i actually can get better headphones (which is why I turned to the experts

I listen to hip-hop and rock and like decent bass and sometimes something electronic but not verry often. A guy i know recomended thinksound ts02's and being alot cheaper than my budget look nice but will they stand up to the "almight beats"

Thanks guys and please point out the things that you would like me to do before posting in the future or anything to help a beginer.

I would suggest an Etymotic product...

An HF5 for around 150, or an MC5 for around 50.

Good Luck, Jim

Vsonic GRO7 is highly regarded here. They will blow away the beats solo which I have heard at length. GRO7 score. 9.1 on ljokersl multi iem review. There is a whole dedicated 235 page appreciation thread here for them. I own triple-fi 10, Monster Turbine and my GRO7 MKII completely blow me away. These are IEM's you should be seriously considering.

Here is the thread.
