Non-audiophile reactions to high-end headphones Part II

Wow, that's just downright obnoxious. He says he knows all about headphones, so does he have a Head-Fi account? Anyone who thinks they know all about headphones should at least have a Head-Fi account; it kinda makes you legit because, well, you're on Head-Fi. XD

That, and maybe I could pay him a visit (to his account page, of course).

probably not, because he bought headphones for 300$ that aren't as good as 70$ k240's. Would you do that? I wouldn't. Anyone on head-fi wouldn't.

Sennheiser HD7 are $300 and are different... http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD7DJ-Professional-DJ-Headphones/dp/B00I117M2O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1399073861&sr=8-1&keywords=HD7+headphone

They are closed so you shouldn't compare them to your open headphones. Also are foldable and come with different cables as well as a carrying case.

Pretty sure he's talking about the Sennheiser HD7's which are $300 on amazon.
nope. I've seen them with my own three eyes. They say presonus hd7. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004ACQMUQ/ref=redir_mdp_mobile

I highly doubt anyone would mistake the 2. Especially with the bright blue logo on the Senns

There is a big difference between the newer K240 and a 600ohm K240 Sextett.

They have similar design style as a K240, but they sound similar to a Superlux or a Samson.
hmm... You've tried all of them?

except maybe on forums with no pictures, and from a lesser known brand that has a headphone that is named the same as one from a very... No, extremely popular brand.... Like what just happened right now. :D

On a forum, yes. But as you've already mentioned they are presonus, and I also refuse to believe anyone who calls themselves an audiophile failing to recognize a Senn when they see one.

Well, JVC seems to have a lot of fanboys now anyways with their new Ah-FX850 getting pretty good reviews.

Anyways, I just ordered a pair of T-Peos H-300, hopefully I receive them sometime within 2 weeks and I can start getting some reactions.

Well, you can count me as one of them lol. I love the sound of the FXD-80 (I own the FRD-80, same thing but with a mic).

Dude, waiting 2 weeks for anything is killer, let alone earphones. My heart goes out to you.

Exactly. But discord already sad they are presonus, so those correcting him telling him "pretty sure" they are Senns is pretty pointless.

Oh, that was me. I read that Discord's friend was talking about a headphone that was $300, and he said it was an HD7. Naturally, I thought of the Sennheiser HD7 because: I have never heard of PreSonus, and it was a better guess. The Sennheiser are retailing for $300, so it was kind of dumb for him to say that he bought his $70 headphones for $300 dollars.
