I have one question. My Savant`s have serial No. over 1.000. Because I love them so much, I purchased on other pair of them ( please do not judge ) with serial No. below 1.000. Each set have totally different package. Second one is in case labeled by Noble ( first one is in Peli 1010 ), different paper box. Is there more differences on IEM itself? Something sound-wise? I shortly try to listen both of them and I found that sound is not the same. Reason can be, that I got on my old pair different cable, tips and bacause I do listen to my old NS pretty intensively, they are more burned. Honnestly I hope so, beacuse I`m really fascinate with these.

All parts in every Savant made are the same.

Cheers

The Savant is actually two driver - and one of the best tuned IEMs I've personally heard.  Number of drivers means nothing.  Tuning is everything.
I couldn't have said it better myself @Brooko! Ultimately it's the SOUND/ TUNING of a given iem that is most important not how many drivers are delivering said SOUND/TUNING to your eardrums. The Savant is a testament to masterfully voicing a iem with what is only necessary to do so, in the Savants case, 2 balanced armature drivers per earphone.

Just posting my long-due impression, apologies for all parties concerned.

Thank you for d_marc0 for the chance to audition this wonderful pair

BUILD - In a true reflection of the Doc's workmanship, it is superb as always, hard to fault.

FIT - As usual with all Noble IEM, the body is too small to give me perfect comfort, but that's not to say anything bad about it, my ears canal are big and deep, therefore, not an ideal scenario for small IEM. After a bit of fiddling around, I found the perfect tips that gave me the closest to perfect seal, the large MEElec silicone tips.

SOUND -

BASS - I would say the bass is probably the same level as Westone 4's, slightly leaner, and not as warm. However, the slight roll off bothers me from time to time, especially for listening of EDM's and Hip Hop tracks, but on the other side of the coins, for acoustic, classical, and vocal jazz tracks, it's just a joy to use

MIDRANGE - This is where the magic is, the midrange, hands down, is one of the best midrange I've ever heard, clean, smooth, with incredible clarity and details. Listening to "I Love Being Here With You" from Diana Krall's Live in Paris, every piece of instrument are projected delicately and beautifully, there was not any moment that I feel congestion, nor any distortion whatsoever.

TREBLE - Clean and clear, without any sibilance nor peaks. Flame Trees from Cold Chisel is the song that I use to test the treble and upper midrange in general, most IEM won't be able to get over the sibilance, but this definitely pass the test with flying colours, not only for its ability to tame the song's sibilance to almost non-existant level, but to keep the sparkle and clarity at the same time, not even Dunu 2000J (one of my current favourite) managed to do that.

OVERALL - A bit too lean in the bass department for my liking, but there is no denying that is one of the best dual-BA that I have heard ever

Thank you for posting your impressions Vic. I'm glad you enjoyed your time with the Savant. It is indeed a culmination of experience and talent of the Wizard that reflects in the masterful tuning of these IEMs.

Kinda late in the game, but had recently gotten a Sony Z5 Premium for Christmas (yes, I HAVE to buy myself gifts for Christmas), and a Savant was up for sale in the local tech/audio forums. Always wanted the Savant (already have an IE800, Fitear Parterre, and an Aurisonics ASG1+) so I jumped at it. No regrets, still getting to know it but liking what I'm hearing thus far....
