I just pulled the trigger on this iem. It comes tomorrow, very excited. After I put some hours on it I’ll leave some impressions.
It's a beauty and seldom talked about. I've tried the best and it is right up there neck-in-neck.

Good to hear. I mostly listen to rock and metal, lots of distorted guitars. So far I have found the flagship Jerry Harvey’s to serve that style of music best. I recently purchased the vision ears VEX and it’s darn perfect in a lot of ways but with my music, the upper mids tend to really get on you and they get fatiguing. I bough the Onyx on a couple recommendations from retailers, and some online investigations. I am hoping I really love them and that they work well for most of the music I listen to.

I am very treble sensitive. You're going to be very happy. :)

You don’t know how happy that makes me. I’m super excited to hear them. And they look stunning. Thank you. I’ll leave some impressions after I’ve listened for a bit. 😊
Yes! Looking forward to hearing what you think.

Someone is able to find a graph of the Onyx?

It's not talked about because it is very overpriced for what it is.

It's a really unique totl IEM. I've tried everything - bought/sold/traded - and it's one of the survivors in my collection. As for overpriced - well we can say that about a lot of IEMs. :)

I agree, we can say that about a lot of IEM's, I'm just saying without a doubt the Onyx is right up there with them.

Onyx has been quite the point of discussion in the office with my colleague, @Marty Carnuccio, liking it the more and more he listens, and of course with @stephenkostas making a video on it (which will be released Saturday :)) While I wasn't blown away by Onyx upon my first few rounds of listening, I've really begun to enjoy what Onyx adds to Nobles lineup with its fantastic layering, spacious soundstage, and of course its energetic low end.Noble Audio Onyx.jpg
Fantastic layering, spacious soundstage and energetic low end is how the Maestro SE has been described and I'm very close to buying one. Is this instead worth the extra $$?

I love Zephyr so much and dunno if I’d like Onyx or Sultan also…
Ragnar for example wasn’t for me.

May I ask from pg 1 of the thread to pg 2 of the thread, what changed to lead to buying Onyx. And did you compare to Spartacus? I tried both at canjam but not an ideal environment for a side by side comparison. T.i.a.
