Hey Guys,

I'm in the market for a pair of IEM's and currently debating between the Kaiser 10's and Katana's. My preference is mostly house music, I am looking for something with strong bass, and attention to high's and low's.

I also wanted to know if there was a difference between their 3D Printed, Acryllic and Silicone IEM's. The material is the only difference, but is there a reason the 3D printed are so much cheaper? Roughly $250 cheaper on the website rather than Acryllic...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

3D printing is less expensive because it's quicker, and requires fewer man-hours. The down-side is, this process limits the aesthetic options, which Noble is famous for.

If you're okay with a fairly plain-looking IEM, there's nothing wrong with the 3D printed option. Sound-wise, I'm sure there is a very slight difference between the materials, but which is better would be a hard one to guess at. It probably comes down to preference, if indeed you can hear any change.

Noble knows what they're doing. All their options will sound amazing.

As to which IEM to choose, if you can afford the K10, get it. Until Noble releases a replacement for it, that's the one to beat. It's considered the perfect all-around earphone. Great bass. Great highs. Great Mids.

If you're open to looking outside of Noble, I would direct your attention to the Rhapsodio Solar BA10 or the 64Audio U12.

Aren't the K10's tuned for a V-shaped sound signature while the Katana's sound flat? If so, obviously K10 would be better.

3D printed has a lot less design options and can't be reshelled by Noble, so that decreases the resale value. Reselling CIEMs aren't ideal anyway so if you're fine with a plain design, then go for the 3D printed K10.
