Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

Just got this two almost at the same time, going to burn them in before serious listening session and decide which one to keep in addition to my OG Sultan.

Initial impression is Damascus Sultan has better layering and staging compared to OG Sultan, its has more 3D feeling to it. If you find OG Sultan sound a bit fatiguing after a while that is not the case with Damascus Sultan, there is no harshness at all yet its still has detailed mids and sparkly high. Overall I am not disappointed.

Head Fi member Layman1 put me onto to the Wizard Universal Katana project. He asked if it could be done, and I had a suspicion that it could be done.

As far as the price, we plan on offering it just as all the other Wizard Universals are (200 additional fee on top of regular retail price)

PM if you have any special requests

A wizard design is a one off product

A reprint is essentially a wizard design that has been done before

Both products come with the wizard signature

Any how if u see a ciem with a wizard signature on the look book page and you want essentially the same design, the fee would be 200 for that.

Only stipulations would be if you ordered something even more exotic like watch parts etc, that would in theory increase the price.

Brennan can help you through the order process as well

Am I understanding correctly that the faceplate replacement fee for wizard universals is 200 bucks if I want essentially the same design shown on the look book page?

Thanks.

If you are ordering a CIEM and find one you like on the look book page & you want something similar to that design, yes the fee is an additional $200.

Hi, I am also considering a Wizard Sultan, upgrading from my WIzard Encore :).
I see on the website that there are a few Wizard Sultan designs (1.1, 1.2,...). Are these in stock and ready to be shipped?
Can I choose any other design from the lookbook (to match my Encore)? What is the normal production time?

It would be better to contact jim@nobleaudio.com (Texas headquarters)

Jim is more aware of the inventory status than I am.

There may be some damascus plates available, titanium and stone plated sultans as well.

For the Hong Kong Damascud package Eddition & the limited black on black edition

Internally, x over is the same, dampers the same, drivers are the same. Only difference is the use of silver wire to solder the components together.

Cable from player to IEM is different as well.

That said, a Damascus plated sultan that isn't black on black or a Hong Kong package sultan, the cable used is the standard cable and the internal wires are copper.
