Interestingly the stock cables have pretty good synergy with the Noble IEMs. I’m actually thinking of having my stock cable re-terminated to 4.4mm? I have purchased aftermarket copper cables which didn’t improve the sound in the end.

I am looking primarily around usability improvements than around sonic changes.

Just put a bunch of stickers on the stock cable, and dip the 3.5mm in palladium while chanting "humana humana humana", improve the audio quality by 10 fold guaranteed!

Humour and jokes aside, at the very least I don't want my future more comfortable cable to degrade the sound.

Folks, I realize it is a sensitive topic, but I am looking to change the stock cable on my Katana. The reason would be to primarily enhance the comfort. The memory wire with my glasses just isn't working out for me. I would prefer something without any memory effect. (For example, the Westone cables are very comfortable for me).

Secondarily, and optionally, if the cable will make the sound a bit warmer, I would like that as well.

Any thoughts and recommendations would be most appreciated.

Spending hundreds on cables does not get my vote. It also looks pretty thick and heavy. Unless the Audeze is very cheap, I would go with the Linium Bax.

I don't really find the topic sensitive, it just comes down to being a believer or not, the cable debate will never end. As long as its discussed like adults, never any harm in bringing it up.
