He meant a balanced cable to connect his Noble Encores to the A&K Kann, not the Noble Khan.
What is up with the pins by the way. Are you saying an Effect Audio Cable will not fit like the Horus and Leo 2? Reviewers have tried both on the Noble Encore. Tks.
There are hundreds of 3rd party cable manufacturers and thousands of pin manufacturers options out there. Not every one can perform under the tight tolerances required and frankly speaking not every cnc shop cares to in the first place.
So one ends up with pin sizes all over the map. We build our products to fit our cable, this we are confident about, other cable suppliers/sources we can not vouch for.

i see you are a new member here so maybe have not done a lot of reading on the cable threads
worry not , Effect Audio cables are fine cables and i have not seen any complaints about them not fitting the Noble iems or any iem with the typical 0.78mm
only problem with a Horus or a Leo II cable would be the price , as they are quite expensive - but other than that no problems

Well, since blue was brought up and still the best color in the world, here we go. Although I now use my Khan's, the Blue Note player is still in action.

I sort of posted about this a few weeks ago but didn't really ask a question. I listen for up to 8 hours a day using my Katanas and K10s at work. I love both of them. Am I missing anything by only using CIEMs vs getting a pair of high end closed back headphones? thoughts on the age old iem vs headphone debate?

Missing anything, well that's hard to say, a great set of CIEM's can do just as well as full sized. I have heard full sized that I didn't care for as much as my K10's at the time. But I don't doubt if I tried enough I could find something I liked just as much or better. I have said this before when someone asked whats the best, the best is the one you like the most.

If u listen to iems that much time a day, u should consider visiting your local audiologist and have them check you for impacted cerumen. (Ear wax)
Basically the tissue in the ear canal grows in an outward movement, moving much like a conveyor belt, slowly carrying wax out of the ear.
An iem inserted in the ear could disrupt that process. We (audiologist) see this a lot with hearing aid wearers and with people that use ear plugs to sleep at night or for hearing protection at work.
