Hi, are you able to do a black face plate instead of red for the Massdrop K10 Ua? The red (or any fanciful) colour is the reason for me not to get it.

The internals for the k10 universal in abs plastic. (black) and the k10UA had all the same internals. That being said, some people reported they sounded different to some degree.

I don't contend that they do sound differently but it isn't my place to refute what a customer thinks he/she perceives.

The Massdrop K10 Ua is the same design as all previous K10 products

Certainly that estimated ship date is only a guideline. Since they sold out so quickly, and there's only 350 units - wouldn't Monday be a more realistic (for me) ship date?
Can't believe I was about to buy unopened K10's from someone on eBay three weeks ago. I've saved $600 by waiting - and I suck at waiting.
