Wow, I see 5 barrel openings coming out of the earpiece. My UMmodTF10 only has 2! Very beautiful, btw.

I think they still have 3 ports per ear.

The k10 has 3 sound bores

Oh so that's what they're called. Thanks,John. What's the cleaner like? on my UMmodTF10, I use these tiny brushes you get at drugstores that are used to clean between teeth. They work pretty well but may not go deep enough. They don't go past the bore depth at all. Should they even go beyond that? And are they just thin wires w/o brush fibers?

Ideally, one monitors the wax situation and cleans the sound bores before the is a need to clean the interior of the sound bore

Can anyone recommend an amp for my noble 4 pls

On 300-600 dollars

Ps. I'm using dx50 and silver widow cable

I don't have the 4, but I have used these portable amps with my Noble 5 and K10:

Leckerton UHA-6S MKII (versatile DAC and amp, but you can use just the amp section), $279 (stock version) plus shipping directly from Leckerton Audio

Just Audio AHA-120 Class A portable amp, pricey at over $500 (including import fees from UK), but complements the K10 very well and excels at pulling out fine details in recordings. May seem slightly light on bass at first, until you get used to the additional texture it provides.

These are both great options if you don't want to bother with getting a balanced cable (or make your own), as you would need to do with a balanced amp like Sorensiim's favorite Ibasso PB-2.

I second the UHA-6S.mkii.  I have the low-gain mod with it and my K10s, and they freaking SHINE on that combination. Make sure you feed them optical to get the full 24/96 playback, as usb is limited to 16/44.1 for iPad Camera Kit compatibility.

But seriously, for $279 the UHA-6S.mkii is simply stunning.  It can even drive my freaking LCD-2 to acceptable volume levels!

Hope it makes it there by your birthday as quoted build time is 6-8 weeks, which is from receipt of the impressions at their labs.

I'll let you know how long it takes mine to show up, which were ordered and impressions made on 10/11.

Ok, mscott, I'll appreciate that. I'm going to think positive on it and if it happens after my birthday, I'm a big boy now, I'll take it in stride, that's all and be radiant when it arrives. Maybe it can be my Chanukah present.... or my Xmas present, hey! That won't be so bad, I'll win any way, lol.

Hmm, wonder if the 6C would be a good "partner"/backup for the K10 :p

Anyone in London/UK, I would recommend seeking out Gisele Flower at aid2hearing. Pretty much a one stop shop, where she'll take care of the impressions (two sets), packaging, shipping and contacting Brannan for verification.

We start this week with a set of Wizard-designed Kaiser 10 crafted for a friend of ours across the pond in the UK.

Deep reds, blues, and purples dance together to create a fantastically nebulous scene. The rings around the canals make these particularly unique!

Last, we have some exciting news to share for all our friends in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan this week. Please stay tuned!

Thank you!!

They arrived yesterday and I've only had a small time to listen but WOW!!

+1 for Gisele!  She made the 2 sets of impressions for the above and sent to Brannan!  Lovely lady with a good taste in coffee!

So HUGE THANK YOU to all who helped me in reaching this, at least for now, end game: Gisele for the impressions,  Dr John Moulton, Brannan and Sunny for the K10s, Rob Watts for the  Chord Hugo (with sources being my iPhone 5 and Mac Book Air)  and  Phil from Custom Cable for the  Vertere cables !  You have all been friendly professional people to deal with!  Again thank you all!

We had a Head-Fier do that recently

He purchased a "Wizard New School" for the K10 CIEM, and a "Wizard Old School" for the NW6.

The universals reached him first, so I have yet to hear his response in regards to the CIEMs.

But he was pleased with the NW6, that much was reported.

I am actually going to order a 6S (in silicone) to complement my acrylic K10.  Sometimes I just want a soft silicone seal, and sometimes the acrylic is preferable.  Hearing the 6 at RMAF sealed my decision.  Now, just needs the wife's approval, which will prove to be the more difficult task.
