Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

One more question, is the PR series really has a 240ohm impedance or just a typo?
Cause the volume changes from P to R will be quite large if the sensitivity is similar in both ba driver.
Or Noble you get some special technique to tackle this?

This was a concern of mine as well.  Oddly enough when I had the PR connected to my J3 and Amp set up, there was hardly a "swing" but when connected to the AK 120, (and no amp) there was a noticeable difference.

In my opinion the shift is not anything alarming.   That being said, the PR is really for the pureist type hobbiest that would carry an amp to begin with.

Very interested in the PR series. Will there be a detail monster sleeping inside the case? Cant wait to try!

The photos of the Wizard Design IEMs were all N4 configurations, so pick the one u like and place the order ASAP when the web site is up.

Are you trying to get me thrown out on the street. I'm seriously tempted though I don't know what I would do with two N4s.

I told everyone the news would be exciting! Yes, seeing the picture of that FR (or maybe it's a PR) is exciting, but let's not overlook the other important part of the announcement - adding the "R" option to a Noble CIEM! For me, the idea is very appealing. I have not heard the 5C but it supposedly sounds warm and full, along the lines of the original 8.A sound. So take that and add a reference, Etymotic type experience at the flip of a switch, and you've got both extremes covered in one CIEM.

Conceptually, it's like having opposing full size headphones in the same cups. Like a Grado PS500, then flip a switch and you have an LCD-2. Or a Denon D7000, flip a switch and it's an Audio Technica AD2000X. A very different sound, which may be more appropriate depending on the music.

I dunno how to explain it.... I just love the concept. But yes, the universal versions are exciting as well.

Wow this is really great! 2 configurations in one IEM! That can really come in handy for those who don't want to collect IEMs...

I am very impressed with the Wizard design universals but at the same time sad coz I really wanted my N4 to have any of those designs.

BTW, will the Wizard design universals be priced differently from the original prices?

Yes, Wizard IEMs will generally be priced $200 above the the base price of an IEM. In this case, those pictured above will be sold at $650.
