Those are the copper filament faceplate which is somekind of hidden option. I really love that too when i see the photos here. I ask for it when i order and they made me this lovely baby.

We have since added this option to both the acrylic and silicone order forms, it must be selected in conjunction with an acrylic color.

Speaking of options, I noticed that one Heir option that I had particular interest in (the PCB faceplate option) is not offered by Noble. Would that be able to be done (whenever in the future I end up ordering a CIEM) if I were to select "Wizard Design" and specify it, per chance?

Yes, if you request it as part of the Wizard Design option we can do it.

I really think Noble should be submitted for consideration for some sort of consumer design award. These are stunning, like museum pieces (I almost want to just stare at them and not use them...almost).

Can't believe I bought these Black Friday and can't get my impressions done till the 16 of Jan!!

I've been very patient until now but it's waning.. I was set on using the Unique Melody suggested audiologist in Melbourne and that's why I can't get a date for so long, but I'm about to cave and just try to find someone more local where I can get in sooner.. but I worry about getting the impressions done right.

Can Noble give me some info regarding Chinese new years and when customer might not want to post impressions to the Chinese factory/time delays over that period?

The real issue with Chinese New Year is shipping, and customs.

Shipping will shut down, along with customs.  What happens is a branch of customs review products as they leave China, and they check to see if the products and the value declarations are correct etc....

and that branch is govt. ran, so they do as they please, when they please and if memory serves me correct, they close before shipping does.

These holidays are mandated, and to the best of my knowledge there are not "alternate shifts" for Holidays like we do in America. In other words, China shuts down all at once.

Cities become ghost towns, to the point where buying an apple is a challenge.  When I was a kid, we would stock pile food for Hurricanes.... in China, you stock of up food for the Holidays!

Yeah I knew it was pretty full on, any idea on how long the hold ups will last? Got to decide once I get these impressions done if I should wait till after Chinese new years.

Really? that's definitely not the case in my city. China is the place people get rich or die trying, so nothing is shutting down in my city, maybe the shipping, but as far as stores and restaurants, they all open and put on big sales on every new year day. I heard this year, people even have to work on new year eve.

"Even have to work on New Years EVE...."   a rather common occurance in many parts of the world.

At least for Chengdu, there are many people from the country side that come and work in the city of Chengdu for the hopes of higher wages etc. Once the CNY begins, there is a huge migration out of the city, people waiting for hours to get on a buss packed like sardines, and then wait in traffic for hours with the hopes to leave the city.

Once home, they have enough time to hug mom... say hi to dad, get back on a bus and go through the torture again.

It is the same way in Thailand as well.

When the lunar new year hits Saigon, the city becomes so much nicer since about 2/3 of the population leaves to visit family. No traffic, better air quality, peace and quiet....my favorite time of year by far.
