Thanks clerkpalmer... Noble Fokus and it will recognize the Rex5.
John, a suggestion is to add to the packaging that there is a support app and the name.
Also a QR code which directs via link to the download page of the app, wouldn't hurt.
It's amazing the things that are missed even when they are glaringly obvious.
We missed the mentioning the Wireless feature as well. I pushed your comments over to HQ, they will adjust the website. I'm guessing packaging will be improved with a qr code on subsequent build batches.
I don't think there was an announcement made for rex5 from emirai yet so I'm hoping Jim and the team will be bringing a demo unit to try out for the akiba show is in 2 weeks so ill ask then, hopefully we'll get Apollo here soon

I own both and the Noble are better in just about every way. It's not even really close. The Noble is far more exciting and dynamic. The pi8; is nice enough but simply not on the save level. This volume thing is nuts to me but I've seen it mentioned several times. Most TWS already reach unsafe listening levels.
thanks. yes, have to be careful with the volume level. I just learnt that the pi8 has retranmission, typically I have to cart along my dx320 to the gym to get high-res codecs or a fiddly adaptor. I tried the BT11 yesterday but it's signal strength is just awful. like 15 feet before it loses connection and has to be replugged (am using the latest fw).
today I tried with AAC and then with wired on the pi8. The pi8 are vastly improved with the adaptive codec.
this is super convenient for me as I don't want to carry a dongle which for me have been quite fiddly. I have tried every version of Creatives, the Go Blu, Cayin ru7.
Love to get your thoughts on how the Noble Fokus compares to the pi8 using retransmission using highres music. If you have an iOS device or mac that would be great as a test bed.
I just got a pair of A12t's so will hold off on the Noble till I can't anymore
i´m new to the family of Noble Audio with Kublai Khan.
Do you have some tip and cable advice for me?
I want to tame the trebles a little bit.
As source i use Cayin N7 mostly.
But I've only been really happy with the KK since I got the Lavricables Grand IEM. The available reviews absolutely match my impressions. The treble is present, without any coloration and, unlike all the cables tested, completely without any annoying peaks. Everything was even clearer and more transparent. The bass is super contoured and powerful. There are perhaps other cables that have a bit more bass. However, I haven't heared one that was more balanced overall.

i traded the Raphael with a Rhapsodio SPC.
The guy who traded the KK with me has exacly this combo and liked it very much.
So i give it a try.
At the moment i´m using Eletech Aristotle with it - also a copper cable.
Nice review.
I'm thinking of getting either the Rex5 or the Apollo as a small Christmas present.
I just can't decide whether to get the IEM or the Overear.
The sound would be the most important factor for me.
A Blutooth HP is intended as a replacement for my wireless AKG Hearo 777 HP for at home in the apartment around.

Tough call. The Apollo is probably the superior headphone for a variety of reasons including better technicalities. However, the Rex has something really fun about them that makes me want to revisit my collection. So I think it depends on what you want and what else you have in your collection. Certainly can't lose with either one.
