What if custom Khans become a reality?
I heard that is already a reality hehe
I had a pretty shitty experience with 64 A18t customs though so now I’m staying away from them quite conclusively, will be keeping those for home use only
I also quite like the feel of eartips and I’ve always loved Noble so it’s time to either go for Katana or Khan (or both hehe)
Its not reality until they are being sold. There have been some setbacks, but I wont say its over or on the way. I still think they will happen, but that's just my opinion.
Ah fair enough, I’m sticking to Universals either way though, super hyped for that!
I am hoping I can get the Khan in custom, fingers crossed. I have a design idea that's sort of never been done.
Papers are even worthless.
Fingers crossed for you buddy, I’m sure it’s going to look insane!
@soundperfection Night and day in terms of detail, separation and soundstage.
Keep in mind the Khan is more on the neutral, analytical side of signatures though!
@Watagump dropped his K10cs for the Khan. If anything, that should tell you something, Happy to answer any specific questions regarding the signature if you have them.
Dropped, that word makes me cringe.
One could say I had a poor choice in words.
It allowed me to make a funny.
Leans towards warm IMO. Pure Copper is a good match for it.
I tried a set of these that I happened to already have and I found the insertion depth a bit too deep as they are quite long on top of the already long nozzle of the Khan. YMMV.
Would definitely agree with this, so much so that initially it made the transition from the original K10U to Khan somewhat more difficult than expected. Having said that, now that I've had time to adapt (or burn-in may have played a part) I no longer miss the "fun" bass-centric presentation of the K10U.
And, if I ever want to hear just how good the bass is on Khan then I crank up some Yaeji!
