Yeah. She has gone full-on Wizard mode. Some of her designs are really, really good. She certainly has an artistic eye.

I can see Dwayne Johnson rocking that second set, fits his tattoos perfectly.

Recently posted about getting a cheap DAC/Amp for my K10s CIEMS, time for a progress report.

Ended up going with the Fiio Q1, I just couldn't look past its price. There was no supplier for micro-B to micro-B OTG cables in my country so had to wait for an ebay order to arrive. Had been using it as an Amp and wasn't particularly happy. The output from my phone was crap so it was just amping a crap signal. I found with hi-gain on I was starting to hear odd artefacts and the the hiss of the noise floor. With hi-gain off these things went away but the audio lost a lot of separation. Bass boost on muddied the sound too much and without bass boost the lows were too lacking for me. This was with Spotify on maximum quality.

When I got the OTG cable and was finally able to use the DAC function I was blown away! Completely black background and finally some decent separation and resolution. Can also use bass-boost without the other frequencies getting messed, love the deep rumbling bass. I then stumbled across some posts about USB Android Player Pro (UAPP) talking about it passing signals bit perfectly to USB devices by bypassing the Android API, decided to install it to see what the fuss is about. Also had to sign up to Tidal (not the $30/month subscription as the Q1 can't play MQA files). UAPP + Tidal is makes it even better, the most obvious improvement is the incredible full timbre on vocals, the best song to demonstrate this is Disturbed's cover of Sound of Silence.

All in all my new setup is great. Fiio Q1 (gen 1) pairs well with the K10 and highly recommend UAPP + Tidal if you're using an android based source.

Not surprised, if I wasn't happy with the sound I have now I would have been straight on that.

So i have enjoyed the encore so much that it sit on my ears everytime i got the time (including when i ride my bike to works)
But it seems the treble is a bit too much for my ears, since it's so used to savants smooth treble
Any idea how to lessen the treble without sacrifing the soundstage? Any tips recommended (currently im using spiral dot and nobles red tips)
