Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

I was just trying to remember what I did in regards to you being at the show, that's all. Not sure what you mean about how Noble handles the sockets. If sockets are not being made to the directions or specs Noble wants, I once again don't get how people blame Noble. But as has been posted, Noble is doing what anyone else would do, they are getting the problem solved and making positive changes. If my recent vacuum I bought from Costco breaks, I am not going to blame Costco.

That is not the correct comparison. The manufacturer owns quality control. If a part is not up to spec, it is on the manufacturer to hold up shipments and have the issue corrected. This is what the folks on this site are complaining about. Now, with that said, Noble is an excellent company and will correct the issue for the customer. The fact that they pay attention here is also testament to their care for their customers.

What about that Japanese guy who installed his own power pole

I remember reading Japanese audiophile magazines in the 1990s where they built the whole house to be the listening room. Giant horns which started 50 feet up in the roof and down-fired into the main area. Insanity, really and because “Japan” the wife let all the tomfoolery keep going onto the next level. Stacks of amps all in a row. Sub-woofers in line arrays firing upwards too. It was the Wizard of Oz.

I agree the socket maker should not have sent them, on another note I just spoke with Jim about 20 min ago. I didn't know that we used your Khan's that you returned at Axpona as demos. So they are alive and well without issues it seems.

All it took for me was a short listen at axpona and I had to have one. Luckily they had some at the show so i didn't have to wait everyone loves instant gratification.

The fanboyism of Noble is at Apple levels on head-fi.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I won't blindly support any company. I really enjoy my Khan and know that of something fails with it that Noble will stand behind the product. That is something that I used to be able to say about apple but in their current state I don't think I can anymore. I really loved my old g5 mac and the last gen of towers that apple made alas gone are the days of really being able to replace parts in your mac.

It's an issue when one member of head-fi, who doesn't work for Noble but is closely associated with Noble, is making outlandish claims. Noble should be addressing these outlandish claims but they aren't. Multiple people have called out said head-fi members outlandish claims but said member still stands behind them, with Noble watching from aside.

Wata is stating his opinion, right or wrong ultimately it his opinion, not necessarily shared by Noble.

Glad to know they have provided some value. However, they are not without issues. They do not work with the iPhone XS Max and even when using the Audioquest Dragonfly Red when connected to the iPhone XS there is a slight hum. This bothered me allot, and made me feel more work needed to be done on this design to eliminate these issues. The QDC Anole VX, for example, does not have these issues and also sounds fabulous. And my Encore sounds fabulous. However, I do not own that QDC yet, so for now, my Encore will remain my main IEM. It sounds great and works well with my DAP. Tks.

The only thing i heard with the dragon fly was shockingly beautiful.

But I never turned down the phone to see if there was a steady state noise... so my experience is limited

That said there is an in line adapter that will be available within a few weeks that has shown to clean up the noise issue with the apple phone.

    Well, back to work....

    This next project is bigly
