You can't buy duty free, your flight is domestic, they won't let you buy anything from the store.
I want to buy some duty since its free. .Costco has a good price on duty but this stuff is FREE.
Well then, you should buy to your heart's content. Although I'm not sure how the payment would work, since free constitutes no payment required. Hope you have a big enough luggage, duty takes up a lot of space.
Maybe I can pay with doody.
As long as they don't expect you to pay with booty
Where is thevdamn snow I want to see some.
Had some interested experiences with my Khans tonight. Using thicker balanced cables, and my Ibasso players, I was receiving noise coming through the earphones. Changing up cables to thinner cables, problem went away.
This was especially noticeable with my iBasso DX200, amp 3. Didn’t notice any problems with the Sony ZX-300.
Is this some sort of amperage/demand issue with the Khan’s? Not that I know much about this sort of thing.
The biggest offender was this cable.
But some other cables, bought from AliExpress were also offenders.
Some random comments from my second Khan listening session at Stereo Singapore:
The Khan is really killing it for what is probably my favorite band, Tool. I think it's a combination of great sub-bass for drums/bass plus just a lot of detail all around (vocals and others), some of which I haven't even heard before. Pretty awesome.
Strangely for some reason I think I actually prefer the K10 for some other tracks, mostly instrumental rock/metal. Not sure exactly why, maybe I'll figure it out later. More bass? Inferior source (phone)? Who knows. I'll try to compare between sources next time.
Listened mostly on the Mojo, a bit on the phone.
Oh yeah, isolation/fit really is better with the Khan.

No sweat, I love doing these shows, gimme MORE.
Glad to help as always.
I am having the same issue with my iPhone XS Max. When using the dongle ( I have tried multiple and moshi dongle as well) there is a ton of noise. When connected to my Hugo 2, no noise. At CanJam every single Effect Audio cable had the same issue. Yet they worked fine with all other IEMs. At the Noble table we discovered that the basic thin black Noble cable eliminated the issue. I have no idea why, but I would like this corrected as the cable that came with the Khan is much nicer. And I would love to be able to use my Effect Audio cables. I emailed John and Jim about this issue. By the way, I felt the Khan was the best sounding IEM at the show! So I would definitely like this corrected. Tks.
I don't get any noise with my Khan. My setup is 1) AK SP1000M Gold -> Effect Audio Horus 8 -> Khan and 2) Lotoo PAW Gold Touch -> Effect Audio Leonidas II -> Khan. At Effect Audio booth, I tried a good variety of their cables with my Khan + SPKMG, but I did not hear any noise. Well, at CanJam, the environmental noise was pretty intrusive while listening so that I might have missed something. But I use the above mentioned setup at home and never had any noise issue.
I do not have the issue when using my Hugo 2. Only the iPhone. A few posts back Carlsan said he had the issue with the iBasso Dx200. So it seems to depend on the device being used. He also mentioned that thinner cables cleared it up. I also noticed that higher volumes clear it up ( but too loud to keep using the high volume level). Tks.
The Apple lightning to 3.5 adapter is what we saw happening with the Khan, people smarter than me will figure out exactly whats the issue. The fixes we found were using the Noble lightning cable, or using the stock cable which is on the Encore etc and the Apple adapter fixed the issue. We had more people have issues after Frankie D, he was our first. When I walked in on Friday the CanJam crew told me about it, sure enough, we saw it.
We are looking into at the moment
