Don't get me wrong, I would never say that the Savants are better than the Andromeda. The Andromedas are very very nice but the Savants' presentation make me really curious about the higher end Nobles.
The soundstage of the Savant reminds me more of the Jupiter but whereas the Jupiter sounded a bit hollow in the middle, the Savants' maintain that sense of space without that effect.

My initial testing way back in the days always produced better sound as I went higher up the line. Right now, my 3rd place one is the Bell, lol. Its just so much fun that it gets my top 3, of course better is a matter of opinion, plenty would say I am nuts.

I can certainly understand your obsession with the Bell, they are quite a bit of fun. I'm surprised so much can be contained in such a small package, and for that price. Whoever said good audio equipment have to be expensive need to meet the Bell in person.

I don't know the first thing about the audio industry, I work in the financial business, but I did grow up surrounded by top notch musicians. My parents were nationally renowned performing artists from China, my mother was the first ballet dancer to tour the western world on behalf of China after its "liberation", so I know a thing or two about music and orchestras and the music quality that comes from musicians of that caliber. The point is, above all else, Noble CIEMs are about self expression, artistry, creativity, individuality, and a dedication to a dream. This I can relate to, I was ranked #6 in the world in MMA in the days when it was not such a popular sport, and I was disabled by a Guatemalan in an unsportsmanlike fashion, forced me into retirement. Then I got into the financial industry and got a comfortable lifestyle. Which is why I love this company. It came from humble roots, it has had its troubles, it overcame the obstacles, it did what it had to do to survive and came out on top. I dare you to find a company that designs, makes, and continuously wows its patrons with the type of quality that Noble is known for. I'm a pretty bad story teller, sorry if I bored you all to death, I still love my Encores though, I can't sing their praises enough. Thank you John for bringing them into the world!

Thanks, but we are still humble, still have troubles, and still have obstacles to overcome.....

Every company has troubles and obstacles to face and overcome, no matter how successful, just look at Apple. What matters is the will to overcome, to succeed, and the attitude to always be the best there can be. We're with you John, every step of the way.

Every team member is working hard around the clock.

BTW

When I meet fans, at the shows, it makes me want to work harder, to deserve the support you guys give us.
My K10's are easily my favourite possession.

I think mine come a very close second to my Monitor Audio Platinum PL100 II... It is a damn close decision though!

Bell is fun, much more balanced than Velvet, thus vocals are well improved. If I wouldn’t know and somebody told me it’s a single BA I would believe him :)

However, the bass could be a bit deeper and they also lack a bit of details, but overall OK earphone for the price (there is so much competition around $200) … Funny thing is that I found them quite good for watching movies.

As for the cable, it’s a shame that it can’t be removed. Cable is very good made, but you never know what might happened.

I hope the next EDC model will have removable cable and that its release is nearly here! :D

the cable has a pull strength of 150 lbs. The only solder point that is vulnerable to stress is at the 3.5 trs jack. If that goes bad, just go to a local cell phone kiosk and have them solder on a new one.

further more, I was aiming to keep the bell as small as possible, a detachable cable would have increased the size dramatically, which defeated the goal of the product

I know I've read it somewhere... I have no doubts about the cable quality, it's also not heavy, thus Bells are not being pulled down from ears.

It's just that it's almost a standard nowadays for good mid-end earphone, imho. Someone might for example prefer L shaped jack or softer cable. Of course, it might be against the purpose of Bells being so "tiny". I don't want to compare, but for example new e4000/5000 also switched to detachable cable, althought the housing is a bit longer. Other possibility is L shaped mmcx pin that some "tiny" IEMs use.

However, I do agree that the concept of housing will increase in size -> maybe an opportunity for bigger DD :p
